Crawford County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, retrieve an official booking record, release anyone, post bond, or act for a jail or court. Direct each request to the official office that holds the record.
Official Crawford County Record Contacts
Start with the office that matches the person’s custody stage. County custody and booking questions belong with the Sheriff and jail. A Municipal Court or Common Pleas case is the place to check a case status or disposition. ODRC serves a different group: people in state prison or under ODRC supervision, not a county booking roster.

The Sheriff’s published materials use the administrative number above. The Municipal Court separately lists Crawford Jail at (419) 563-2731, but that extension should be confirmed before relying on it for a jail or records request. Research found no published dedicated Sheriff booking-photo form, fee schedule, records-unit line, response time, or records-desk hours. Call before visiting or sending a request.
- For a Crawford County booking path or a public-record request under Ohio Revised Code § 149.43, begin with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and confirm the proper recipient.
- For an arraignment, bond, disposition, or municipal case, use the Municipal Court record search. The court warns that online entries can be delayed, so verify a time-sensitive result with the court.
- For a Common Pleas case, contact the Crawford County Clerk of Courts or use the Common Pleas case search, which also carries a delay and verification notice.
- For a person in state prison or on ODRC supervision, use the ODRC Offender Search. It is not a source for current Crawford County bookings.
- For a federal detainee or inmate, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. For an immigration detainee, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System.
- For custody-status notification rather than a photo or court record, review the official Ohio VINE information.
